Prehistoric site Špičak is located on the slopes of Mount Koštrunovog in the vilage Bojačno in the municipality of Zagorska Sela, in a place that had a very big traffic importance since prehistoric period, and during the Roman Empire this area was one of the most important routes between the provinces of Pannonia and Noricum. The first research on the site Špičak was conducted in the late thirties of the 20th century, while the intensive systematic surveys were conducted in the last thirty years. Archaeological site Špičak belongs to settlement with the cultural features characteristic of Central European late Bronze and early Iron Age. With control of the Sutla Valley at the Špiček site there where excellent conditions for development of life and settlements. Among the archaeological findings at the site are standard pots, jars, cups, and baking lids and the remains of larger ceramic tools. With the ceramic found on the archaeological site there are also various forms of colored reddish stones from the prehistoric era.
